Welcome to ReelGrab. Your privacy is critically important to us. This policy explains how the ReelGrab mobile app handles your data.

1. Data Collection

The ReelGrab mobile app is designed to be a privacy-first utility. The app itself does not collect, store, or share any personal identification information (PII). No account creation or email address is required to use the app.

2. Video Links & Processing

When you paste a URL to fetch a video, that link is processed solely to retrieve the direct download source from the platform's public API. The app does not store a history of the links you search on any remote server. Any history shown in the app is stored exclusively on your local device.

3. App Permissions

To function correctly, ReelGrab requests permission to access your device's Photo Gallery or Media Library. This permission is used exclusively to save the videos and audio files you choose to download. The app does not access, view, or upload any of your existing photos or videos.

4. Local Storage

All downloaded content is saved directly to your device's local gallery or internal storage. ReelGrab does not have access to these files once they are saved, and does not upload them to any cloud or external server.

5. Third-Party Services

The app interacts with third-party social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.) to fetch publicly available media. These platforms have their own privacy policies. We have no control over their data collection practices and recommend reviewing their policies directly.

6. Cookies & Tracking

The ReelGrab mobile app does not use advertising cookies, pixels, or third-party ad networks. The app does not serve advertisements. Anonymous crash reporting and usage analytics may be collected through Apple's or Google's platform services to improve app stability.

7. Security

We follow standard security protocols for local file handling. Since the app does not collect or transmit personal data, the risk of a data breach affecting users through the app is minimal.
